Community Boards are the representative voices of Manhattan’s neighborhoods – the most grassroots form of government in New York City. Serving as a volunteer Community Board member is an incredible opportunity to weigh in on crucial issues ranging from real estate development to liquor licenses and sidewalk cafes. To learn more about Community Boards, download a paper application, or apply on line, visit: http://manhattanbp.nyc.gov/communityboards. Applications are due by January 30, 2015.
