After years of being co-located and much advocacy from CB2, Clinton School of Artist and Writers finally gets its own school building. The newly constructed nine story building located at 10 East 15th Street (just north of the CB2 catchment area) houses the existing middle school students and expanded with a high school, grades 9-12, that will be phased in. Principal Jon Levin hosted the school’s ribbon cutting ceremony on Wednesday, January 20th 2016. The ceremony included testimony from the PA President, an 8th grader and 9th grader. Principal Levin welcomed Rosie, Congressman Jerry Nadler, the School Construction Authority, parents and students to cut the ribbon. Congratulations to the former chair of CB2 and our State Senator Brad Hoylman and Assemblywoman Deborah Glick for making this possible.
